About Me:

I am Ms. Adrian Lyons, and I am excited about starting my first year in the Erie Public School District as the Wilson Middle School Choral/ Music Teacher. Before traveling to Erie to teach, I graduated from Duquesne University with a Bachelor of Science in Music Education, and I taught around the Pittsburgh area, teaching everything from strings to chorus to private lessons. Music education is my passion, and I believe it allows students to explore their own musical talents while also developing skills, such as communication or teamwork, that they can take with them into the future. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my dog (Norman), going antiquing, and going to local farmer's markets. A fun fact about me is that my favorite movie is "The Princess Bride" (A.K.A The greatest movie of all time). I am looking forward to what this year has in store!
