Week of 4/6-4/10

Well, we kind of knew that this announcement was coming. Still I didn't feel ready for it to be over and I am sad that I am missing out the rest of the year with students who have become like my own children. I have watched them grow since they were 7 or 8 years old and now that they are moving on to middle school next year I won't get to see them blossom into the wonderful young adults I know they are.

To my students: You should know one thing by now, I love you fiercy and unconditionally. I cannot think of any better people on this planet than you. You have made being a teacher one of the most important things in my life. Like Camryn and Benjamin I think of you like you were my own children. I have been thinking about you often over the past few weeks but this week especially. It has been nearly a month since we have seen each other and I'm not sure when we will get the chance to see each other agan. I hope that it's sooner rather than later. Mrs. Farina, Mrs. Morgenster, Mrs. McManus and I are working on planning something special for you guys since we cannot go to Pittsburgh or have a final goodbye at school. Please always be the sweet amazing students I know you are. Keep working hard and keep in touch. With love, Mrs. LaFuria
