• Mr. Scully began coaching high school girls' CYO basketball and middle school girls' basketball when he was a junior in college.  He has also coached at St. John's for three years before coaching on the JV and Varsity staffs at Villa Maria, where they won three District Ten titles in five years.  Mr. Scully went on to become an Assistant Coach at East High School for one season, before becoming the Girls' Varsity Basketball Head Coach. He remained the East High School coach for ten seasons, making the playoffs nine out of ten seasons. Prior to coming to SVMS Mr. Scully worked as a teacher at Perry Elementary, where he also coached the boys' middle school varsity team and 6th grade boys basketball team for three years. His teams made the Johnny Harris Playoffs in two of those seasons.

    Mr. Scully has been teaching for twenty-three years in Erie's Public Schools and currently is the school wide support specialist at SVMS. He graduated from Gannon University with a B.S. in Business Administration. He earned his teaching license from Mercyhurst College with certifications in elementary and special education.  Mr. Scully resides is Erie with his wife and two sons.
