• Below is the letter Mr. Roberts sent home with your child with information regarding Parent-Teacher Conferences. Skip to bottom for link.

    Dear Parent/Guardian of Mr. Roberts’ Students,  

     

    Parent-Teacher Conferences are this coming Monday, 11/20/23, and Tuesday, 11/21/23.  You have a few options to hopefully fit your busy schedule. Mr. Roberts (your child’s Algebra teacher) will discuss your child’s overall progress, struggles, and behaviors in class in addition to answering any question you may have.  

     

    Here are a few details on what you can expect on both days: 

     

    Monday 11/20/23 – In person 

    The building will be open from 11 AM to 7 PM.  You are invited to come in with, or without, your child to meet and conference with their teachers.   Mr. Roberts’ is in Room 306, which is in the hallway to the right of the lobby as you walk in. A typical meeting is between three to five minutes unless more conversation is needed. There will be two desks set outside of the room to wait at if there are other parents conferencing with Mr. Roberts at the time of your arrival.  In the event Mr. Roberts is not in his room then he may be taking his lunch or bathroom break, and a sign will be posted outside the door with an approximate return time.  

     

    Tuesday 11/21/23 – Virtual 

    Conferences will be held via Zoom from 8 AM to 12 PM.  You are invited to join the virtual meeting with, or without, your child. Mr. Roberts will have his meeting link on his teacher page and on your student’s Schoology page. When you click the meeting link, you will be placed into a waiting room.  If your time in the waiting room is longer than one minute, it likely means that Mr. Roberts is conferencing with another parent at that time.  You are encouraged to wait.  To assist Mr. Roberts (and all your child’s teachers), please make sure your display name is your legal first and last name.  

     

    Note: Teachers are only allowed to discuss student information with legal guardians.  Another interested party is allowed to be present if they are accompanied by a legal guardian

    • If your wait time is more than 1-minute than Mr. Roberts is likely with another parent. You are encouraged to wait.
    • Please set you name to your legal name to assist with verifying that you are indeed the legal parent/guardian.
