• Calculating Your GPA

    1. Look at your percentage grade for each of your classes.
    2. Using the chart on the right, write the grade point average for each class. Use half of that number for half-credit classes.
    3. Add all values.
    4. Divide by the total credits you are taking.

    Here is an example for a ninth-grade student:

    25/7 = 3.57
  • Grading System

    Collegiate Academy uses a 4.5 scale for honor classes and a 5.5 maximum scale for AP classes. All classes are honors or Advanced Placement.

    93–96 4.0
    89–92 3.5
    85–88 3.0
    76–84 2.5
    70–75 2.0
    0–69 0

    Regular 

    95–100 4.0
    90–94 3.75
