Transfer Students
Students interested in transferring to Collegiate Academy must be enrolled in grade 9, 10 or 11. (It is challenging to accept seniors due to meeting the necessary graduation requirements.)
Collegiate Academy is composed of two schools:
- The college-preparatory program offers a rigorous education, focusing mainly on preparing students for a four-year college or university. To graduate, students enrolled in the college prep program must complete numerous rigorous courses.
- The Visual and Performing Arts Academy (VPA) is a magnet school designed for students with an aptitude for the visual and performing arts. We encourage students with moderate to advanced experience in these fields, or who can demonstrate initiative to pursue this track throughout their high school education, to apply. The VPA provides numerous opportunities for artistic development.
Note: behavior and attendance are contributing factors to acceptance or non-acceptance.
Students who are currently enrolled in Erie's Public Schools
Send an email to collegiateadmissions@eriesd.org and let us know that you are interested in applying. Please tell us which program you are requesting admission to: College Prep or VPA. Once we receive your request, we will download your transcript and records from Infinite Campus.
Students who wish to apply to the VPA must also provide proof of experience in an area of focus. Areas of focus are visual art, vocal, instrumental, theater, and dance. Attach documents that demonstrate your experience to the email.
