  • Welcome to GO College at Erie High School

    GO College is FREE!  If you would like to apply, please click here. arrow  GO College application(must have gmail account)  Once finished, hit submit and the application will automatically be sent to GO College administration. If you do not have a gmail account you can still apply by clicking on this link. arrow  GO College application (NO gmail). Once the application opens, save it to your computer, reopen it and fill it out.  After you fill it out, please resave it and send it to Mr. Hicks at dhicks@eriesd.org.

     

    COVID-19 Message

    The GO College office at Erie High is open Monday-Friday, 8:45-4:30. If you are a CTE student and are in the building, please stop by room 202 if you have any questions concerning college/tech school or need tutoring. You are also more than welcome to stop by and pick up a paper application if you are interested in joining. GO College staff are also utilizing Zoom, email and text to communicate with students who are not in the building.  We work virtually when needed, so that all of our students are prepared to enter college/tech school. We are here to address any concerns you may have.  Please do not hesitate to contact us at the email addresses below if you have any questions.  It is our privilege to continue to serve our amazing students!

    The GO College office is open during school hours at Erie High School to provide the following services to program participants:

    • Monthly workshops for each grade level that emphasize career, college, personal, and academic awareness and success
    • Free Dual Enrollment college clases at Gannon University for qualifying juniors and seniors (free textbooks, too)
    • Academic/college advising throughout the school day from two professional advisors, Mr. Hicks and Ms. Cortina
    • College exploration and application completion and submission, including application fee waivers
    • FAFSA/PHEAA financial aid completion and submission
    • College Campus field trips
    • Career exploration
    • Freshman Simulation Day at Gannon Univesity
    • Summer Camp Experiences
    • Community Service opportunities
    • Much, Much, More!

    In addition, the GO College program provides the following services to all Erie High School students:

    • Tutoring in all subjects by Gannon University student tutors
    • SAT and ACT registration and free test waivers
    • Assistance with College Exploration(limited for non-members).
