Digital Citizenship
Our world today is incredibly linked with online activity. I am a strong believer everyone today needs more education for proper online activity. There are may good and not-so-good stories about how somone's past online behavior impacted their future. Today more than ever, all students need to understand the importance of their Digital Footprint.
Recruiters both at the academic and business levels are reviewing candidates. I want my students to be strongly aware of this to create a positive online reputation.
- What does your online activity say about you?
- Have you 'googled' yourself lately?
- How have you adjusted your settings so everything posted isn't public?
- Do you keep some things private?
