If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I have been responding to all of my e-mails.
Also, I've been happy to see many of you logging on to Membean and increasing your vocabulary. I can't wait to see what you wow me with when we return.
Take care of yourself and stay safe.
Week of March 23rd
9th grade ELA
This is some practice work for the week of March 23rd. I choose work to practice some of the skills that we have been focusing on with our stories. There is a worksheet that deals with making inferences. There is a another keystone packet. Those questions are all based on inferences, characterization, and vocabulary. All of these skills are eligible content for the Keystones. Additionally, if you find you're bored....READ. Reading anything will keep your mind active. If you have younger siblings help them with their work. Anything you do will be better than nothing.
I would encourage you to use Membean if you are able to do so. If you don't have an account, use the link on the web resources page and the class codes to enroll. I have been checking and some of you have been practicing your vocabulary!
Hopefully I will see you all back on March 30th. If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail. I have been checking my e-mail frequently throughout the day and responding.
Please make sure that you are taking care of yourselves.
