  • Course description- This course of study students follow the general education English Language Arts 9 curriculum with modified assignments at a more individualized pace. These smaller classes provide more step-by-step instruction, in-class reading, development of concrete reading skills, and some independent reading. Students will practice organization and study skills, and become a stronger reader by studying short stories, poems, nonfiction, novels, and dramatic tragedies. Prepare for PSAT, SAT, and Keystone exams by improving vocabulary and critical reading skills.
