• Special Programs and Career & Technical Program Continued Eligibility

Continued Eligibility: All of Erie’s Public Schools’ graduation requirements will continue with each program at our school. Students will be assessed at the end of each semester. Any student falling behind in meeting graduation requirements and/or attendance may be released from their programs. Falling behind with graduation requirements could be a result of failing core classes, continuous failure in required pathway classes, and/or failing to maintain daily attendance.  Any student who is to be released from a program will have the opportunity to have a one-on-one meeting with the principal and/or designee prior to his or her release.

Certification Exams and College Credits: Some of our unique programs or Career & Technical programs may require the participant to complete certification exams. Although each program has an extensive opportunities to develop readiness for required tests, it is a requirement of the student to pass each certification test. Failure to complete and/or pass each exam will not affect graduation but may affect the student’s ability to work and or attend college in one’s field.
