UPDATE - AUGUST 20, 2021:
August 20, 2021
EPS families,
As previously announced, Erie's Public Schools will be offering several options for student learning in 2021-22: Students in all grades will have the opportunity to participate in full time, in-person learning or enrollment in our EPS Cyber Choice Academy, the district's K-12 cyber program. Students in grades K-6 can also participate in synchronous virtual learning for the first quarter of the school year. Families were asked to complete an online form indicating their preference.
As we have since the onset of the pandemic, Erie’s Public Schools will continue to follow the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Following current guidance, all staff and students, regardless of vaccination status, will wear masks while indoors in district buildings. The district will adhere to 3 feet of social distancing, consistent with CDC guidance.
Our complete Health and Safety Plan is available here. The plan will be updated as necessary as the COVID-19 situation evolves and if new guidance becomes available.
