Hi! My name is Cassandra English and I am happily returning to Erie High School as the Cooking I and II teacher! This is my second year as a Family and Consumer Sciences teacher here at Erie High School and my 11th year teaching. I returned to the Erie area in 2020 after spending nine amazing years as a middle school English Language Arts teacher in Charlotte, North Carolina; and I am looking forward to creating a home here again.

I am a proud mommy of a 6-year-old little girl, an 11-year-old Pitbull mix, and a whacky half-feral 3-year-old cat - together, they have the unique ability to drive me insane with love for them.

My goal as your teacher is to send you into the world with more knowledge than you had when you entered class. Cooking is a lifelong skill, one that can both make and save you money. There are so many opportunities for you and your future here in C208 and in your other classrooms. Please take this class as a stepping stone into the adult world you are rapidly approaching - pay attention, learn new skills, and absorb new information.
