Transportation and bus pass information

Erie High School families,

High school students needing transportation to and from school will utilize EMTA public transit vehicles.

For the 2023-24 school year, the “parent responsibility zone” for families is 2.0 miles for grades 9-12.

  • In the event a bus is filled, the EMTA driver will contact the EMTA dispatch center to release additional buses along the route.

»   Students and their families should consult the EMTA website at www.ride-the-e.com or contact an EMTA customer service representative at (814) 452-3515 Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. — 4:30 p.m. to determine which “Fixed” route(s) meet your needs. Students are encouraged to download the mystop Mobile app at https: ride-the- e.com/apps,’ to plan and access schedule information.

  • Routes are constantly being updated by EMTA. Please continue to check for the latest updates.

We will no longer be collecting Excel spreadsheets or bus pass request forms from families and schools. All bus pass requests will be completed on- line through the Erie City School District’s online registration system: https://eriepac.scriborder.com/
