Grover Cleveland Elementary announced as 'Title I Distinguished School' by PA Department of Education (Jan. 24, 2020)

(January 24, 2020) -- Erie’s Public Schools is proud to announce that Grover Cleveland Elementary School has been recognized as a “Distinguished Title I School” by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Division of Federal Programs and Pennsylvania Association of Federal Program Coordinators. Grover Cleveland was honored at the 2020 Title I Improving Schools’ Performance Conference on Monday, January 27 at the Sheraton Station Square in Pittsburgh.

 

Each year, the Division of Federal Programs honors the top performing Title I schools in Pennsylvania using the most recent academic performance data available, which includes data from both the 2018-19 and the 2017-18 school years. Title I provides federal funding to assist school districts and schools with high numbers or percentages of students from low-income families.
